About Us – 1892 Supply Co.

From the Dockyard to the Deck

We’re Josh Oxley and Sam Ogden — founders of 1892 Supply Co., and best mates since we first met at secondary school at 11 Years old and that was a long time ago.

Both of us came up working in the engineering world, grafting in tough environments where quality gear and hard-wearing kit actually matter.

Sam spent 8 years serving in the Royal Air Force, which is where the inspiration for our military tribute line came from — honouring those who serve and those who never made it home.
We both grew up around the dockyards and always felt like the heritage here was being forgotten. 
1892 Supply Co. was born out of pride for where we’re from — Grimsby, its dockside grit, and the history etched into the brickwork of the tower that’s stood over this town since.

That tower isn’t just a landmark — it’s a symbol of working hands, cold mornings, and strong backs it’s a symbol of what built this town. Everything we make is a tribute to that

We built this brand for people like us. People who respect legacy. Who carry weight. Who show up, get on with it, and stand for something.
